There is a small circuit board inside a small piece of heat shrink that is attatched inside the radio. Remove the existing one and replace it with the one that is inside the box the radio came in. Turn up the power to a dead key of 75% of MAX power on AM or lower. Crank the SSB ALC up and crank the AMC up. Then put some duck tape on it and leave it alone. Hope I am not missing something , they change modifications alot.

The answer? One will last forever , the other one will be dead in less than 3 months. Thats the truth. The other = the other place.

falcon,if by the other place you mean(eei)
read thier boards and see how many complaints
you find!and how many problems with radios thier faithful buyers have this will answer your
question.307 is right one will last, the other will fail no dought about it.they do nothing to
beef up the radio to handle the increase in power
and it will fail due to this!!! thier is a mod to
fix this, and its not real expensive, and if you can solder you can do this your self.if you are interrested or anyone else is email me at
blackhawk454@hotmail.com
