Hi, can anyone help with a simple question? I have just bought a VR-9000 but it's slightly off frequency (about 400 KHz) on SSB when the coarse knob is in the indent. Which pot do I need to adjust to pull the frequency up slightly? Is there a single VR that allows the frequency to be set?

Thanks for your help
Simon

Transmission,
I got a 9000 when they first came out and have always had a problem with the counter being off especially when it was cold out. I just adjusted it accordingly until it warmed up a stayed "stable". I still use my 9000, it's in my car and still running well, I think so anyway. To answer your question though, alot of people have wrote about the 9000 being off freq. I personally don't know how to fix it but do a search on the radio on this site and see if you can find some old post.....good luck
