My Saturn has been Converted so it gets 11 meters (CB)
I like to Convert it back to stock..

Reason: I want to use it on the allowable 10 meter band onces I upgrade to general class

and use my Washington for 11 meters..

Right now the Saturn goes a high 28.305

I don't want to be limited with just 2 10 meter freq's

Anyone know the reverse Conversion mod?

I find nothing on this in the Modification List
thanks

Moderator Note!

You do not have just 2 - 10 meter freq's, you have 305 Frequecies from 28.000 to 28.305

Yes but I want to be able to be in the 28.300-28.500 range also

Anyway I'm just looking for the Reverse Conversion for this radio.

I did fine this on the internet.

1. Remove the cover from the unit and locate 6 pin jumper labeled J29. Move the shorting block from it's current position to the back/right position as shown.

2. Re-Assemble the unit and check All Bands for Proper operation.

NOTE: The Unit ships from the factory with the J29 jumper block on Pins 1 and 2 which works on 28 MHz only.

this was for a galaxy DX2517

would this also be right for the saturn?
