My 2970 is giving me some problems, when I key down and say what I want to say,and let off the key it delays for about two seconds before I get my receive back to hear anything,I even tried the original mic that came with it,still the same thing,is this something that needs replaced in it,if so what needs replaced,or does it need sprayed out,but if so,it looks clean on the inside of it,any suggestions??? |

I'm sure you would have have mentioned this, but it has to be covered to be thorough. Do you have an amp inline when this problem occurs? If so, the amp could have auto SSB delay...hence the problem. |

Yes,I'm Sorry,I should of mention that I was using a 20 amp Power Supply to run it on. Come to find out,it was my 20 amp power supply that was going bad, instead of my 2970,we hooked it on another power supply and it works great,I believe this time I'm going to go with a 25 or 30 amp power supply to be on the safe side. Thanks For All The Help !!! |
