depends grumpy, how much background noise you want... i usually run my compression switch on low. on high, it usually sounds a bit louder on whoever you talk to but it's real sensitive! or you can run it manually and it tells you how to set it up in your inst. book you got with it. hope this helps you. |

I've found on AM the best reports I've gotten are to use: Compression High Mode: SSB
The FM Setting... everyone told me I was way too "muffled" sounding |
