I've got a swan swr-1A swr/power meter. I don't have a manual and since it does not have a forward and reverse switch I can't figure out how to use it.
It has swr/power meters with a round dial 0-10 in between the meters. Any help is appreciated.

Wendy,
The left hand meter reads foward power and the right hand meter reads reflected power.When hooked up correctly,you would apply power(key the transmitter)without modulation(in am mode).turn the center knob slowly clockwise while watching the left meter.When the needle reaches the "set" mark or full scale,then you read the reflected power or standing wave ratio on the right hand meter.
To read power you would need the chart that came with the meter when new to know where to set the knob for the frequency you are using.
That meter was designed for use from 3 to 150 mhz so you can use it fot your 2 meter radios also.
