when i key up the radio-- the watts go from 5 slowly to zero in about 4 seconds .. anyone know what the problem could be??

i agree, need much more info than that.

lots of times, when you see something fall slowly, it is due to a bad or leaking electrolytic cap.

cant say for sure at all, but maybe the big one on the power supply board?

well the problem is fixed - unbelievable - it was my tuner ... it was offf i turned it on and it worked great i must of accidentally hit the button
