Thanks; I'll find it "hopefully" :-)

I'm a bit of an antenna freak, never build them but read everything i can on them.

My base antenna is a 35 year old aluminum 5/8 wavelength, SWR is as flat as the day i bought it .......presently hooked up to a 23 ch Midland base while my Uniden Grant is down to the local "Golden Screwdriver guy for some work :-)

We don't have CB shops around these parts,heck we hardly have any CB'ers left...unless you want to count the truck drivers.....

The article on the 11 meter long wire is one of the best I have see so far.Being a homebrew antenna guy I think that I will give it a try when the weather warms up.I was wondering would there be a need for some type of uncoupling device that could be placed between the antenna and radio to eliminate any stray RF from entering the shack and causing problems with the radio.

Should not need one, and the two I built in the past worked well without. I suspect the matcher works on that aspect too.
