I was wondering how do i make a flat side antenna out of coax?I hear a few guys local use them and they say they made them out of coax and have the coax from there radio strug up into a tree.but how do i make one?thanks

Are you talking about a di-pole antenna? If you are do a search of this site to the left under search. The subject has been covered several times. I also have used Google and found instructions. They are easy to make. I think if you go to the Antenna section and scroll down the subject was just covered again recently.

Look up bazooka antennas on a search engine.

You may also like to look up linear loaded dipoles.
