--Hi, all. Can anyone tell me if anyone makes some sort of mount that will go through two layers of metal on the bed of the pickup (I am mounting the antenna a few inches behind the stake hole on the left side)? I am using this right now http://www.copperelectronics.com/cgi-bin/checkitout/checkitout.cgi?catalogSTORE:CKIE:prodF50-00038+ but I need it to be a couple of inches longer (I am talking about the 3/8-24 threaded part.)
--I've never had a problem before with mounting an antenna on pickups before, because there was only one layer of metal that I had to drill through, however my '06 tundra has two layers, and the threaded 3/8 inch on the stud mount is just too short. Thanks for any help. You Tundra owners know what I am talking about. |

--I think I have finally figured out what I can do! I am thinking I will just buy a step bit (I think that is what they are called) and make that hole on the bottom bigger, that way, I can just screw my coax in easily. |

Will the 102 on the rail work better than a W5000? I'm on the fence on a Wilson 5k or a 102 on the rail of my truck? |
