Are these frequency readings when you are transmitting or receiving? Is this when it is first turned on or after it has had time to warm up as there may be some frequency drift after it warms up.
Either way 3 cycles high on AM operation is not a concern. This is not considered off frequency on AM.
With fine tuning inside the radio it could be put exactly on frequency after it has a chance to warm up and settle down on frquency.

i think this radio has a course/fine knob
fine in outter knob
course is inner knob
ajust fine so its at 12 oclock
adjust course so its 12oclock
if this doesnt help adjust course till ya get
right on freq.the inner knob adjust transmit and recieve.outer knob does recieve only.do all this after about a 15 min warm up time
