OK, I have the IMAX. Man does that top whip flop back and forth. It bends alot. it looks like it is about to break off when lookking at it bend so much. Can it really withstand high winds when it bends so easily? Thanks.

Never had one break in the last 4 years with 80+ mph winds or with 4" to 6" of Ice on it.

That's good news. But with all that easy bending, aren't the SWR's constantly going up and down?

When i had mine up i took SWR readings while real windy. Didn't change much at all.
That fiberglass is really tough.
Hopefully it serves you well for many years.

You have no idea what Lon's Imax 2000 went through before HE got it! That antenna took amazing abuse including 100+ MPH winds on top of an 80 foot tower, and a wildfire with temps over 140 degrees measured near the base of the antenna. Then, it got shipped to Lon and abused some more. It was lightning that finally killed it. NOT wind!
