was curious has anyone tried the rflimited EC 2018A Turbo 4Pin Mic that
copper has? it would seem to me that
they,d watch up just as good if not better
and would retain the rflimited name at the
same time

I bought one from copper several years ago, used it on a 148...was always told it sounded great, but it's extremely sensitive to adjust and it doesn't hold up to heat/cold or rough handling(eg..dropping or rough riding vehicles)...would probably work well on a base, just once you get it adjusted find a way to lock the variables because they move easily(I used superglue but that's kind of extreme)

i've used one on a Magnum S-3200B base & a Rci2950 DX and it sounded really good, but boy is it touchy on adjustment like Penrider said. but i have found that the Aries DM-452 works just as well for a fraction of the price more of the robotic stuff and echo with the 2018A but for all out loud audio the DM-452 is to me the same. to bad there is no way to lock in the setting on the 2018A just a little touch changes it. but all in all it's a great mic
