I would like to get a base amplifier to work well with my RCI2995dx with these current settings.

My current radio settings are dead key between 10-50 and it swings to around 175 max on a dummmy load. I would like to get around 1000 or so watts output.

Could someone make a recomendation as to a make and model amp that would work well on AM and SSB with these specifications. i would also like to have a unit with a preamp if this will help with the receive signal. thank you

Jaws792,

Get a Beam - a 3 element will give you well over 1000 watts ERP; as for the preamp, the beam will also increase your receive by at least 1 1/2 S units.

regards
