does anyone know if the galaxy IV is a ssb radio?
if yes does it have pll lc7131 i need to know how to open the clafier.i have an audtion 3000 ssb and the board was made by galaxy. the chip can be modifed but need to oper clafier.any info would help. |

Seems it was a courier galaxy, I remember doing one back in 89 I wasnt impressed seems like it was only uppers on the pll. I also remeber having to put a swinger diode into it to get the slide the guy wanted. Think it didnt covert to 5 kc but 10, like 27.450 maybe Im thinking of another one now, I have slept since then! i'll try and look for ya, Im 3 days behind now..LOL!

thanks crafter! but i just found the info i was looking for,the board was used in the midland 79.265 so I got the clafier mod from that. the clafier now swings almost a full channel. and yes it only has uppers. thanks anyway. bluebird |
