What's the trick to getting LED segments (as in a channel display) off the board, I mean something other than just tearin' them out with your teeth?

If you have a small suction bulb it works well. An eye dropper might work but you need a larger bulb to create enough suction. When your done just pop off the bulb and pour out the solder pebbles :-)
Never did get time to pick up a de-soldering wick.
If want you could go to your local drug store and buy a small enema or baby "snot sucker" :-) just put an anteater like tube on it so you reach your work...
