A99-CK Ant. + GPK-1 Kit

I got one of these A-99 but don't have the ground plane kit with it. I bought it off a buddy of mine for $40.00 to $60.00 bucks it works really Great can't complain on the A-99 Base Station Antenna at all I got the A-99 hooked up to my GENERAL Stonewall Jackson

I had one of these about 25 years ago. Worked GREAT! I hope this new *Solarcon* A-99 does as good. I will know for sure this weekend when it goes up.

This is a outstanding antenna. Used it to talk all over the world on the 11 Meter free Band. Above channel 40 on upper sideband. I have run on 26000-28800 with 1:1 or 1:2 standing wave. Very good 10 meter antena too. I have used it on 40 Meters with a anntena tuner with good results. On AM picked up East coast and 40 miles local with no skip with a 200 watts tube kicker. 60 miles local on side band. Have had one up for 5 years with no problems. Great deal!

Antenna is great i can talk about 35 miles on a 10 ft push up pole with a 5 watt uniden pro 510 radio. FIVE STARS ***** I would recomend geting the highest quality coax available to you I have found the better the coax the better this unit performs.

I also have one of these as my primary AM antenna and its really a great unit. Solidly made and preforms great. Couldnt be happier.
