I have had one for a year now, and its the best! Running nothing but radio, it talks great DX!! The only thing that I have found it drifts on frequency, but other than that, great radio!!

This is a very good radio, when I first got it I was surprised to find a Technical Service Manual with circuit diagram in the documents that came with the radio. Its beautiful sitting here on the bench with me now. I ordered it with my second DX 959 that I have ordered from Coppers. I was sold on Galaxy radios some years ago thanks to my original Copper's order. Its the best CB radio I have owned. I bought this 2547 to replace my old 2000GTL. The 2547 has great audio on transmit(I am using a Astatic 878). The receive is very good and great selectivity. It does have a slight drift but after a 15 to 20 minutes warm it appears very stable. A great base unit..
