For the price you cant go wrong,once tweaked,,it is amazing,excellent receive,the tone option is great,it filters out all the scratchy noise on receive,its output is about the same or more as big base units in its class.Good reports on both AM and SSB.Do it yourself mods for extras pretty simple via internet,Trust me I was amazed on what this rig can do.Mid range 12 volt power supply and this rig will make you sound like a BIG DOG behind those curtains.

This is the best radio I have ever bought in the 20 years I have been talking on the radio. If you buy this you will not regret it one bit. Talk back is great for adjusting an echo mic .
