Just got my 4th one so I could retire another one of my D-104 chicken chokers . as stated above I get better reports with these mics than my D-104s even the ones I completely rebuilt . jlm . W4HTH 73.

This is one wonderful sounding power mic! No matter what other mic I put on my radio...folks on the other end always say this is the best sounding mic. For $20 this mic sounds better than others I have paid well over a $100 for. Everyone should give this top performer a try.

I bought this mike in 07 -08 still going strong. I think it sounds every bit as good as much more expensive mikes.I am not much of an echo fan but it had just the right amount if adjusted properly. Fyi the modulation adjustment inside mine was cranked wide open so may wanna check that out that's not needed with these mikes

Got one to use on my old cobra 146gtl, used it with no echo, just as a power mic, got better reports cleaner mod and louder then my d-104 chicken chokers. Made adapters for my kenwood ts430 and yaesu ft-101's,same senarios. Best 20 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Good budget echo microphone for the price. I've tested this and use it on my 148 GTL and works pretty good. just wish that it was not so cheaply made feeling but what do you expect for under 20 bucks
