fast shipping all seems good only one issue I do not want to void my radio warranty it's a brand new 980 ssb pushing 3.5 watts. Out of the box i don't want to over drive the kl60 since the radio cost is more then the kl60 which has no warranty and claims it will handle 1 to 5 watts I'm going to run it as is. we shall see.

First time buying from Copper. Fast shipping and well packed. Little thing works as advertised. Using a President McKinley with a Road Devil Mic. No complaints. Thing is loud. I'm happy and will be doing business here again.

Great for getting out a couple more miles and boosting clarity on weak signals. Great amp, well worth the money, was so satisfied with the first I bought a second for my other radio. Just remember these are low drive amps, to get long term use less is more. 1 to 2 watts of input drive is probably best for longevity. I get 10 to 15 deadkey output from 1 watt of drive, depending on radio. Thanks Copper

Great amp so far, I haven't had it long so don't know how long itll last. Based on my radio and my cheap meter this thing on low of radio which is 1 watt in delivers roughly 8 to 10 watts out. On high radio (4 watts) its showing its putting out about 22 to 25 watts. As the previous review mentions this is great if you want to add clarity to your current range and maybe get out a couple more miles. Barefoot radio reaches out to 4 just bone stock. With amp in place it clears up my 4 mile broadcast and pushes out to 5 and 6 miles depending on terrain. Testing was done on low 1 in 8-10 out as I was told not to overdrive it for longevity of the amp. I'm am happy with its range on low and most if not all talk will be done on that setting. I did test on high at 6 miles just to see, it did make it a bit louder and clearer. But Not enough so to risk overdriving. Overall very satisfied with performance and did what I was expecting to get out a few more miles.

Seems to be a good amp for the money. It essentially increases your output by a factor of 10. My dead key is 2 watts and the amp puts out 20 watts. I have no doubt if I tweaked up my radio, I could get more from the amp, but this does just what I wanted, which was to get out a few more miles without bumping up my footprint too much.
