Bought mine from Copper many years ago. Used as a base and never failed to impress. With my small base antenna outside, I often got replies from operators 30+miles away, and even made a few skip contacts out several hundred miles, all barefoot. It’s worth every penny.

VERY nice CB radio with variable power and mod, only took minor adjustments to bring forth better performance but not maxed out on the board settings. I received great reports from local stations and one out at 42 miles distant with the radio barefoot on LSB and thats probably as good as it can be using the factory hand mic. Of course Copper had the best price I found online as well as 2 day shipping (USPS) to Texas. THANKS AGAIN Copper..!!

So this radio is the ultimate sidebander when copper is done with the align and tune...a.m. is great but wow ssb is kickin it to a new level for a simple radio...fits in my jeep jku like it was made for it. This is not a weaky squeaky mobile unit.
