I Bought my First Imax 2000 back in 2000 or 2002(Ben a long Time.lol.)It Replaced my A99 & Same Exact Tower,Coax,Radio,Meter Exxt I Saw About 3s Units Difference on My RX & TX on the Cb Band (11M) & The SWR was a 1.1 Out Of The Box! I Talked On it For 3-4 Years & Lightning Hit Near by and Splintered The Bottom & It Hung Over My Tower So Of Coarse I Bought a New One Put It Up & Talked For Several More Years Then I Finally Went to a Beam But These Are The Best Vertical 11m CB Antennas You Can Get IMHO ! At Least They Was Back in 2000-2015 Ish ! I am Wanting a New One Now for the 11m,12m & 17M Band But Really Cant Justify Paying What They Ask For These Things Now Days 230$ Come On That Is Just Ridiculous IMHO But You Know The Saying..A Fool & his Money Soon Be Parted !

I bought this antenna in the year 2000. Now 22 years old. I have used it on CB and Ham radio. On ham radio it does a great job on 17 meters. Cost in 2000 from Copper was $68. Can't go wrong with this Antenna. 5/8 wave antenna will do a little better than the A - 99 which is a half over a quarter wave. The 2000 is really 0.64 . Close enough for 5/8 wave. If you are looking for a great antenna and easy to put together, this is it.

EXCELLANT antenna last one lasted 14 years. But beware this antenna will tune up fine even when it has deteriorated over several years. Give it seven to ten years and then retire it. Whips like a wet noodle in the wind but survives! AMAZING! Coppers is the only place to buy it if you want it quickly and for the right price. Ordered one from a Walmart drop shipper took 3 weeks to ship. Took 3 days to ARRIVE from Coppers. Thanks!
