Follow up to earlier post. I upgraded to a 3000 w adjustable PS from Amazon, and it really woke this amp up. It does all of a KW on Ancient Mary and SSB.

I like it a lot. It's dated but simple tech I can diagnose in a jam. Documentation is plentiful for troubleshooting. I use a industrial 1500w/125 amp switching supply witch gives me ~700 w SSB, even though it isn't recommended
