In my mind, this rig is still the best standard AM 40 CH CB for the buck. Out of the box, this rig can do 90% MOD from its stock mic. This rig performs much like the famed PRO 510XL, except this rig has the extra bonus of an RF Gain control, which I'd rather use than a Squelch. If you want a fairly bare-bones CB, this is the rig to get.
