Seamless Aircraft grade aluminum, 5db gain, 1.5 maximum SWR, 5000 Watts
Height: 16-1/2' to 20'
I've been using a Solarcon A99 for well over 2 years, and just made the switch to this Maco V5000 antenna. Stayed at the same height. Very easy to put together, and just as easy to adjust for SWR ect. The transmit and receive of this antenna is superior to the fiberglass A99. Not day and night difference, but plenty enough to be glad you went this direction. Built very well and with good quality. SWR went down slightly when put on the tower near 40 feet. Buy one, you will be glad you did.

I put one on a 20' pole on the back of my 69 ford van with pole holders. This 5/8 wave MACO is the best, but I this I fried my brain with it! LOL

Great Antenna.. puts the Imax 2000 and the A99 To shame<<!!
I had the fiberglass sticks .. 2 of them.. then i went with the V58 for 10 years after that I upgraded to the V5000 best Antenna I ever have had.
So if you don't have the cash for a beam,, rotor,, control box this is the way to go.
You will be very happy with this!! Get it!!
EXCELLENT ANTENNA. LOW SWR ACROSS THE BAND. WORKED ALMOST ALL THE STATES INCLUDING HAWAII. GREAT LOW ANGLE TAKEOFF FOR SKIP CONTACTS WHEN COND-X ARE RIGHT.EXCELLENT EARS TOO.FEED IT WITH LMR-400 LOW LOSS OR EQUIV. AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO FOR MANY YEARS".
