Seamless Aircraft grade aluminum, 5db gain, 1.5 maximum SWR, 5000 Watts
Height: 16-1/2' to 20'
EXCELLENT ANTENNA. LOW SWR ACROSS THE BAND. WORKED ALMOST ALL THE STATES INCLUDING HAWAII. GREAT LOW ANGLE TAKEOFF FOR SKIP CONTACTS WHEN COND-X ARE RIGHT.EXCELLENT EARS TOO.FEED IT WITH LMR-400 LOW LOSS OR EQUIV. AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO FOR MANY YEARS".

I have owned the 5/8 wave base antenna from the original Wilson co. this antenna is not your average base station antenna . I know some places the law forbids using aluminum because of shock from wires but if you have the ability to putt one of these up do so . I have had mine for over 30 years once every 5 years u have to take it down and clean and replace clamps do to weathering and re matching just plain maintenance make this antenna the best to own low SWR across multy bands since I run 10/11/12 meter never having to use a match box EVER. I retired this antenna to a friend who now has it on a huge tower after cleaning it and resealing the antenna he is blown away from all the reports he has gotten all over in skip I purchased the imax and got it up and found the matching in this antenna is only good for 10 an 11 meter 12 not so good plus the wind blew it down from roof and every time it rains the match goes up so it is broken some where I cant see not impressed on this antenna at all I have shot skip with it reached every where just as the Wilson butt signel wise just not the same . I am going to buy the copy since I can only call it a copy since Wilson sold the rights to sell this antenna it still holds better SWR and talk ability then any other antenna for reaching out in skip ......... for rating this antenna from bad to good they need a awesome button not just good pay the money for the best before u find out the one u got sucks
