Talks like you have a big radio, I also have a little Willie which talks almost as good....main reason I think is the ant and cable/base are all tuned together for flat SWR....yes FLAT....I have a digital SWR meter and it does not move, its 1:1 on a calibrated dead key and does not swing with modulation....this is on channel 20.

Bought two of these in the 1990's. Still have one, while the other one was ripped off. Antenna performs well and that large magnet mount holds up to wind blasts and semis buzzing past you at 80MPH. However, I do not feel that this antenna really does much better than the famed K40, and even Radio Shacks best MAG mount that they've had for some 25 years. Still, for today, it's a better performing antennas to buy. My main gripe for the ones bought in the 1990's was the cheap, fragile, RG-58 coax that came with the MAG mount. Both broke in a couple of months after purchase. Just replaced with RG-mini 8 coax, and has lasted since. BTW, if you live where there are low bridges and lots of low tree branches, this antenna will hit them every time.

I've always ran a Wilson 1000 Mag. mount. I've had 1 on a full size Chevy 4X4, a S10 Blazer and several different cars. They are tough, stay on the roof and will handle any frequency a CB radio can be modified to transmit on. Unless you are running crazy high power. This is the antenna you want.
