Ive had this model for about 1.5 yrs now in my work truck and i cant believe how well it does! never had a problem and it really kicks butt, on my dosy and radio shack meter im getting about 300 clean watts out and 380 on SSB with 2watt dead key and 18watt swing and the kl-503 set to 4 on the knob going into a K40 helical antenna i plan o buying a few more of these models
